After three years since the original build-out, we've learned how best to expand to serve our members more effectively. As part of this process, we identified areas for improvement, including the absence of a gymnastics facility at the new location compared to the previous downtown YMCA.

To address this need, we embarked on constructing a new gymnastics facility alongside the current building. This 22,000 square foot addition features two floors, each spanning 11,000 square feet. The upper floor houses the gymnastics center, designed exclusively for practice sessions rather than competitions.

The bottom floor of the new building is dedicated to dance and spinning studios, as well as a workout zone equipped with CrossFit-type equipment. Notably, the expanded spin studio now accommodates 34 bikes, up from 24, to meet the high demand for spin classes. Additionally, the new group exercise studios enable more classes during post-work hours, enhancing the YMCA's offerings for its members.
