At Golden Rule Painting, we recently had the privilege of working on a project for a funeral home that required a fresh coat of paint on its wood trim. The customer's request was clear: they wanted the trim painted white to enhance the building's appearance. To ensure a high-quality finish, our team embarked on a meticulous process to revitalize the exterior.

First and foremost, we prioritized preparation by meticulously hand scraping and caulking all the trim and windows. This step is crucial for achieving a smooth and durable paint application, as it ensures that the surface is free from imperfections and properly sealed against moisture and weather elements.

Once the preparation was complete, we applied XIM Peel Bond Primer to the wood surfaces and Zinsser Smart Primer to the metal rust areas. These high-quality primers are designed to promote adhesion and provide a stable base for the topcoat, ensuring long-lasting results that resist peeling and flaking.

Finally, we applied Hallman Lindsay Weatherguard Low Sheen Paints to all the trim, windows, and doors. This premium paint not only delivers a beautiful, long-lasting finish but also offers superior protection against the elements, ensuring that the funeral home's exterior remains vibrant and attractive for years to come.
